Se7en

An interesting discovery I came up with on WY's blog title "seven". Hence, we present to you, the Seven Sevens of the world...or something like that...

1. 7 = Days of the week.

2. 7 = Number of Baftas won by Slumdog Millionaire.

3. 7 = Wonders of the world.

4. 7 = The new Windows Operating system.

5. 7 = Number of circumambulations (Tawaf) that are made around the Kaaba.

6. 7 = The number of octats in Indian music (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni).

7. 7 = Number of books in the Harry Potter series.

There were a lot more hits on the number seven, but WY and I shortlisted these for your reading pleasure. Comment on some more interesting ones that you can think of!

  1. I know! =D Best blog title I have known. Hmm. That could be partly why I loved it, Arsy :P. But hey, in no way does this signify any affiliations with numerology.

  3. Anyway..

7 = Number of heavens, as written in the Quran, to exist.
7 = Number of levels Hell is divided into, according to either the Quran or the Hadith.
7 = Number of layers the atmosphere is scientifically divided into.
7 = Number of Horcruxes in Harry Potter - The Deathly Hallows.
7 = Number claimed to be the greatest number achievable in the wizarding world, according to Harry Potter.
7 = Number associated in pirate lore with the seas (i.e. 'The Seven Seas').
    7 = Number of continents.
7 = Number of years Hazrat Yusuf was imprisoned for.
7 = Number of healthy and weak cows, as well as the number of fresh and dry wheat fields. Thereafter, 7 also became the number of years of prosperity and good produce, then the 7 years of famine and bad produce.

Also, 7 Days a Skeptic, one of my favourite games.
Oh and, funnily, the guy who created that game speaks, swears and curses just like Wijdan =P. Not only that, but Wijdan looked a lot like him in one of his profile pictures. Three photos back from the recent one. Anyway, no big deal. One can look like a lot of people.

Three is my other favourite number with a lot of thingies*. Don't anyone dare steal it.

    *[Symbolism, you call it?]
